Have you heard about DAY ONE ministries? While many people know about us, many more do not. For most people, their knowledge is based upon the words of friends or relatives who have a relationship with Day One. Others have learned about us at the very successful Annual Spring Banquet.

Our goal for the coming year is to spread knowledge of Day One to more people, and more often. The chosen vehicle is the Day One Ambassador Program!

Throughout the country, Christian organizations have used ambassador programs to spread the word about themselves and their activities. For non-profit organizations of all kinds, an ambassador program provides a low-cost, high yield opportunity for both marketing and service.

How does it work? This new Day One project is a two-way, updated, service-oriented, personalized, communication tool. For computer buffs, that means it's a "bi-directional, real-time, interactive, system".

Approved and willing volunteers become trained and “connected to” DAY ONE. Each of them represent Day One within their church, schools, social organizations and geographic area. Each ambassador receives a monthly data pack from Day One, with bulletin board notices, brochures, and other current information. They distribute the information within their area.

More people learn about us every month, and they learn more often each month! Simple, right?

The other side of the ambassador program is even more exciting. EVERY ambassador for Day One also serves as a Lighthouse for our Christian services. As they learn of people and organizations that can benefit from our services, they will be able to make direct referrals through our ambassador website, connecting those individuals and organizations with proper sources for assistance.

As our Day One services grow, so will the value of the Ambassador Program. Every step forward allows us to stand taller and with more confidence as we combat the enemy and bring others to Jesus!

If you are a Christian, and especially a Christian couple, of good character, and over 21 years of age, you most likely can become an ambassador. We would love to have every church, school, business, and social organization covered by our ambassadors. If you desire to serve God representing quality services to people and organizations with needs, please apply via email. Please reference the Ambassador Program.

After initial training, Ambassadors will meet for additional training, sharing, and prayer every calendar quarter. They will also be recognized at the Annual Spring Banquet for the important contributions they make within the community.

Day One Ambassadors are encouraged to grow within the organization. Joining the Friends of Day One, training for Chaplain certification, becoming a seminar/workshop leader, and/or becoming a Day One Activitiy Coordinator are all potential options.

Serving our fellow citizens, and our Christian family, is great way to honor Jesus’ call to "love one another" and "share the Gospel" through our words and deeds!

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,
and that the time of the Lord's favor has come."
